Welcome to the 9th Annual Cordy's Crafty Christmas Party!
You are in for a treat! This year we will be taking over the great room with craft stations for each of the crafts we have ready for you. You can do 1, you can do them all, or you can do none of them and bring your own crafts and come hang out! In addition to the crafts, we will have CHILI CHARCUTERIE! That's right, a nice pot of chili with all the fixin's. We will provide the chili,toppings, and cornbread and we just need you to fill the table with other foods to graze on throughout the day. There will be other surprises on the food table as well, we just haven't narrowed them down yet.
ALL WE NEED FROM YOU:
1. RSVP telling us which crafts you are interested in
2. A delicious side/dessert/drinks to share
(think appetizers, chips and dips, fruit and veggies, baked goods)
3. Follow our event on Facebook and select "GOING" to get any and all updates!
Here are the planned crafts and their supply cost. You can pay before you leave once you know what crafts you have made. These costs are strictly to try to cover any supplies provided and any extra will go straight into the Cordy's Castle rescue. The list is constantly growing and changing so be ready for anything up until the event!
1. Hot Cocoa Ornaments- $3 each or 2/$5
Hang a cozy cup of decked out hot cocoa on your tree for Christmas morning! Just add to hot water.
2. Silicone Bead Keychains or Pens- $3 each or 2/$5
Use a variety of colored silicone beads and focal shaped beads to create a fun masterpiece to showcase your personality! These would be great gifts as well.
3. Silicone Bead Wristlets- $5 each
These round keychains fit nicely around your wrist when you don't have a purse and can really stand out! Choose the theme that makes you happy or make one as a gift for a friend!
4. Hand-stitched Snowflake Ornament- $2 each
You will stitch through this beautiful wood ornament with some thread to make it your own. We can't wait to see how your snowflakes turn out.
5. Crushed Walnut Hot Packs - $3 each or 2/$5
Give the person you love a WASHABLE hot pack made out of cotton fabric and crushed walnuts. This prevents any unwanted smells and moisture found in common rice-filled hot packs. Great for aches and pains, pets, and more! Multiple designs to choose from!
6. Christmas Crescent Wreath- $15
What. A. Treat! This beauty is a wreath form shaped into a crescent and you can fully decorate the wreath to match your home decor. And, at the end, you can add some cute little wood animals (sugar gliders, squirrels, cats, dogs) to admire the ornament. We have leaves, flowers, ribbon and other wreath accessories for you to make this a beautiful addition to your front door.
7. Christmas Stocking Cage Pouch- $5 each
A group favorite, Shannon and others experienced with the sewing machines will help you design and assemble a fleece cage pouch in the shape of a stocking for your cage babies such as sugar gliders, rats, and more. They are also just cute to have as gift bags, holiday decor, and more.
8. Wood Earrings- $3 each or 2/$5
We have chosen some beautiful, lightweight wood earrings for you to paint and assemble for yourself or for a gift. We have mermaids, trees, gnomes, red trucks, and more.
