One of the things Wild Little Monkeys strives to do is educate people about sugar glider--and other small animal--ownership. Safety is a big factor when considering adding any animal to your home. While each species may have unique concerns regarding safety, drowning hazards are a common one. This goes for exotics and non-exotics alike.
We can try to safe-guard our homes as best as possible, but sometimes visitors or children may not recognize hazards as readily as we do, so while this is by new means a new idea--yes there are other versions of the same idea made by others--WLM wanted to design a gentle reminder to those who come into our homes and potentially create hazards for our fur babies.
Please keep in mind, toilets are not the only potential drowning hazard in your home so you could use these stickers wherever you want to put a reminder about water risk.
Toilets, sinks, fish tanks, buckets, jugs, tall cups, bathtubs...I'm sure there are others. Look around your home, sometimes, the risks aren't overly apparent at first glance.
